The 69th Mission Statement
We in the 69th believe in such words as Courtesy, Respect, Courage, Discipline for all these make up Honor. We at the 69th would like to provide a clean and respectable place to come and enjoy comradery and fellowship. These are the things that military units throughout time have had to accomplish by putting together men and women from all different walks of life, in total disregard for race, religion or nationality. We uphold these beliefs and would like to believe that the 69th is such a place. We try to
be as organized as possible in order to maintain a certain amount of discipline, but we are mostly out to have fun and enjoy ourselves. As with any organization a certain sense of order must be maintained to acheive this. The leadership of this clan will not hesitate to remove any person or persons causing insurection amongst the ranks.

Brief History
The 69th was established to try and promote an atmosphere of clean gaming in the online community. The 69 th is comprised of members who come from all over the world, from all different walks of life. It was born out of necessity to bring a group of guys who became friends to join together on periodic basis to just have some clean fun.The 69th part of our name was selected from a group of soldiers who were put together during WW2 rather hastly and became an integural part of the military force used during that time.
Some of the veterans and other members of the clan who had family or friends who were vets, thought it would be a nice way to honor those who served in the military. So actually finding a name of an actual military group that we could reference ourselves to was the thing to do. After some research we found the 69th Infantry Division. After reading some of the history of the 69th we felt it was some what relavent to our group of guys and there we had it. Even though the 69th was an american unit, we salute all members of the allied forces for the loyalty and commitment to there branch of service worldwide.
The 69th Infantry Division was originally scheduled for activation before the end of World War I, but Armistice Day, November 11, 1918, halted this . By January 1943 or earlier, the widening WWII and its troop demands brought these plans out again. A large group of Infantry and some supporting unit officers were called from The 96th Infantry Division training at Camp Adair , Oregon , to supply the cadre (nucleus) for The 69th Infantry Division, which trained at Camp Shelby , near Hattiesburg , Mississippi . Non-Commissioned Officers were also called. The Division was activated May 15, 1943.

Gentlemen From Hell
With the idea that we are a online gaming group we had to come up with a some what catchy name and a short tag. So GFH was included. The Gentlemen From Hell was introduced because it generalizes the idea that all men who have died during war time did so leaving a certain hell behind them, for WAR IS HELL. And all those men I am sure where "GENTLEMEN" and someday we will meet up again with the "GENTLEMEN FROM HELL".
Code of conduct
Most of our members just wanna come somewhere and enjoy themselves. Play some online games and have fun. There will be no tolerance for any type of abuse of our servers, website, forums or TS. Any abusive behavior proven to be over the top will be dealt with accordingly. Absolutely no racial remarks or comments will be tolerated any where within the domain of the 69th.
